It's an exciting read, Perri. I've been thinking about the same issues for days. I noticed that the number of posts about writing has skyrocketed in the past year, mainly because many people are working from home and are exploring new possibilities of making money.

What makes me scratch my head, though, is that many top writers with a huge following are writing about... writing. Or side hustles. Or growing your content empire.

When I see this, I think: "Is writing about writing the final destination in your writing career?" The moment you become successful as a writer, you think, okay, now I can finally write about writing! Doesn't make any sense to me! And I agree–I'd like to know what were they writing about before? What were they passionate about?

It's a bit of a problem for me. Thanks for your post! It resonates with my ideas well.
